CAS

Happy choosday everyone. I hope you had a fabulous weekend, I had a lovely time with my family celebrating my birthday. Did you see my giveaway above? Get entering for your chance to win the fab CD.
Over at the Digi Choosday blog this week our new challenge is CAS, which mean Clean and Simple. This is a hard one for me as I love to use embellies and dies on my cards, so I had to sit on my hands lol.
The image is Miss Charlotte from the Rose Budd download Collection. The collection is also available as a CD HERE. Miss Charlotte is also available as a clear stamp HERE. I have coloured her with my Graph'It Markers. I've used a Tattered Lace Embossing folder to create the background and just added some ribbon and gold cherries from my stash.

The papers are from the Lily Of The Valley Timeless Victorian paper stack.
The sentiment is from My Craft Studio
The flowers and leaves are from Heartfelt Creations.

Not a square card

Good morning all, today there is a new challenge starting over at Polkadoodles, and that challenge is to make anything but a square card.
Here is my make:
I used a Tattered Lace die to create the card shape and mats and layers. The backing paper is from the Work and Play collection 2. I have used the lovely Rose stamp set from one of the Pen and Paper circle mags. I stamped one of the foliage stamps around the paper to create a border. I stamped the rose onto some patterned paper from the Work and Play collection 2 four times and cut out and used foam pads to give it dimension. I then stamped the leaves onto some paper from the same collection and cut and mounted those onto 3D foam too. I then stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and matted it onto some more of the paper.

Here is a close up of the rose to show the 3D.

Tattered Lace

I want to share with you today a card I made for the Tattered Lace Dies Blog

To create the card blank I used the largest of the Tattered Lace Essentials Oval dies. I then used the next size down in the Ovals dies to cut a piece of white card. I embossed that piece of card with the Tattered Lace Script embossing folder. I used a distress ink to lightly ink the edges. I used the Spinning Flower die to cut two flowers out, I also inked these with the distress ink. I glued one flower on top of the other and used the Chrystal Glitter on the centre flower and glued to the centre of the card. Finally I used the bow maker to make a double bow using some Embellishment Attic gold organza ribbon and glued this to the bottom of the card.

Pop over to the blog HERE to see more beautiful creations from the rest of the team.
