Oh Alice chapter 15 challenge

The challenge over at Oh Alice! this week is to use swirls on our projects.

So here is my card
I just love this image! I've coloured him with ProMarkers. I've used orange core-dinations card which I have distressed with a file and then used Tim Holtz Wild Honey and Brushed Corduroy distress inks. The backing paper is from Costco and I've highlighted the swirls on that with orange glitter glue. Then I have used coffee coloured Core-dinations and embossed it on my bug with the swirls folder, and then sanded it. The messages are computer generated and the clock image was found on Google.
And don't forget Alice in Wonderland is out on DVD on Friday! I have pre-oredered my copy and can't wait for it to arrive!

Dotties World Sunday challenge

The challenge over at Dotties World this week is set by Karen and here is what she says:
Have you tried making the very popular, and dead easy, Easel cards yet? My challenge this week is to make one so here's your chance to have a go. There are instructions on how to make an Easel Card on the Charmed site. Theme, colours - anything goes, as long as it has one of the Charmed downloads on there somewhere.

And here is my card
The image was a freebie from last weeks challenge. Isn't she just adorable, I can see her being used quite a lot! She is coloured with ProMarkers, the papers are from a collection I got at Costco last year. And the flowers are from my stash.
I've used a Tim Holtz Wild Honey distress ink pad (which I won from Charmed cards and crafts ) to distress the outside of the image and the lacy border.

JD bag

This bag was asked for by my friend for her neices birthday. I must say she has fantastic taste in men. I think I might find this one a little hard to part with.

PFP Challenge week 53

As they are celebrating their first anniversary they are giving away some amazing prizes so pop over and have a look.

So here is card number five that I have done

So here is card number three that I have done

The image is from Magnolia and the papers are from HOTP. The doily is one that I had put to one side to use before I mislaid the other 99 (which is still driving me mad)!

The image is from the new Magnolia range. The papers are Papermania Rose Garden and are distressed using Tim Holtz's Pumice Stone Distress Ink Pad. The flowers and gems are from my stash and I have used a doily behind the image. I have had to use a large one and cut it down as I can't find the 100 smaller ones I have :( How do you mislay that many?

Card for 3 challenges

Hello all, it's been a while hasn't it. I've been rather busy sunning myself in Egypt. It's very hard work but someone has to do it! ;-)

Well it's back to the good old English weather, which for once is gloriously sunny, so I've dragged myself out of the garden and into my craft room to do some challenges. I found that one card would cover all my usual 3 challenges this week, so more time for basking in the sun!

The 1st challenge is at Passion for ProMarkers this week is set by Tracy and the theme she has set is:‘fantasy/mythology’

The 2nd challenge is at Oh Alice! Chapter 14 and it is to follow a sketch.
This is the sketch

The 3rd challenge is at Dotties World this week it is set by Adele and she wants us to have a thank you greeting on the card.

So here is my entry for these challenges

The image is from the Pixie Chicks collection available at Charmed cards and crafts and is of course coloured with ProMarkers. The papers are from Papermania's Henbury Lane pad.
